PHONICPhonic Blog is all about the music. Run by Members of Phonic Touring we will be regularly posting exclusive tracks, interviews and mixes from our international/local artists and finally some tracks that we think should grace your ears.
(in this picture: Sebastian (Stereoheroes - France) on left, Leon Maneul (Founder - PHONIC) on right @ Pistols & Hearts SYD)
Many of you would remember this superhero duo as they lived amongst us almost 2 years ago here in SYD. The Stereoheroes duo destroyed the Oz circuit with their distinct party banging tunes creating a fan base here in Australia that stretches further than The Great Wall of China. They have blown up all over the world since then, with a touring roster larger than life itself these french electro dj's aren't stopping anytime soon.
Here is few new tracks that they have been pumping out with their signature sound.
(in this picture: D.I.M (Boys Noize REc) aka Andy on the left and NT89 (Turbo, Boxon, Sony BMG) aka Nima on the right
He recently was here on Australian Shores, our very first touring artist NT89 has had tremendous exposure and success after his visit down under not so long ago, actually celebrating my 21st. BOY! was that an epic night to remember, the videos and photos speak for themselves. Since then several releases, on Turbo Records, Southern Fried, Sony Music and Boxon Records to name a few... Oh! and did i mention assisting the Bloody Beetroots in producing the One Love Cd? He also managed to co-produce a track with our local Distrakt which is being released on Boxon Records.
I have an exclusive dj Set from his recent Bugged out! party where he supported D.I.M
Enjoy!
Expect a very different sound and get ready to be surprised because I was and I LOVED IT!
After almost two months off the party circuit, The Phonic Crew are back and ready to cause a rucuks!
We stepped back, observed and watched as the Sydney heavy electro nightlife scene deteriorated with wack music. It was time to end it...
Phonic Touring has teamed up with new joint partners, Canvas Records for a promising business venture to bring nothing but quality underground nu age music to Oz shores. No more of the same act's over and over again by the several touring and events companies out there who's sole aim is to push one or few particular artists that they have close tie's with, we want everyone to excel and have the opportunity to prove their skills and talents so keep a ear and eye out for new exclusive banging electronic producers who with our shared vision will be offering Australian kids something to look forward to each night out. Big plans will be unveiled in the future between these two strong exciting companies.
We begin this partnership with The launch of our BOXING DAY RAVE! Set to create turmoil in the dungeon remains of a 15th century aristocratic golden palace known as Le Panic.
With this rave we decided to feature new dj's along with a few old favorites set to rip the sydney nightlife scene a new hole in 2010!
One Dj to especially catch my eye would be BLACK WIZARD who plays his debut exclusive set in the tight realms of Sydney competitive electro scene!
Here are couple of mixes from him. If these don't keep your feet moving and bouncing non-stop I don't know what will!
Talent, Determination and Passion drives this nu aged producer out of Sydney.
His twisted innovative sound, sends shivers down my spine and already with a huge loyal fan base I'm guessing this producer and dj by night/IT call center by day kid will be creating a stir within the scene very soon.
Here is a new track fresh out of the studio he has sent to me exclusively
They toured down under a while back now, their sound their energy was something of "awh" they are back again to rock the ground of home nightclub Sydney.
I have been a huge fan of LPP (Boys Noize Records) and their productions/remixes and I believe it's time to introduce them to the growing electro mainstream scene of Australia. There was once a time where the french electro act's where never to have been heard off, now they're musical gods. A duo I'm sure the sydney scene will froth over when they play their exclusive dj set here in oz leading up close to Christmas on December 18th, Be sure to catch them @ Home Nightclub - Sydney a gig not to be missed!
Time magazine rates M.I.A as one of the top 100 most influencial people in the world!
With nominations for Oscar awards for "Slum Dog Millionaire" she surely is one of south east Asia's biggest entertainment star!
Everyone loves a thumping bootleg mashup, and they don’t get much better, or illegal, than Tiptronik’s reworking of the M.I.A track ‘Uraqt’. Rumour is M.I.A’s camp may be suing the Sydney duo because of this track. So, in protest, we’re going to spread the love, exclusively on this blog!
So who are Tiptronik? Well aside from being one of the most-hyped new acts on the Sydney electronic scene, they actually have a fairly well-known past. Seshan Moodley makes up one half of the duo: he was a one-time member of rap/metal outfit Parkside Killers who supported Ice-T and The Beastie Boys. The other 50% of Tiptronik is Ramesh Sathiah, who aside from being creative director at Song Zu also has a history in composition and production, having produced Grinspoon’s first EP.
They’ve got a tonne of experience behind them, and they’re set to be the next big thing in the Sydney electro scene. Check out their MySpace site for some more original material: you can get theirs track ‘Crash and Burn (nodoze)’ and ‘Away’ on iTunes but no doubt they’ll be an album sometime soon. They’re also working on a track with Grinspoon vocalist Phil Jamieson too.
so it becomes apparent to all that i am one of few thats not attenting the stereosonic festivities tomorow, so im sitting here at 11pm by myself drinking, and reminising on past festivals. one act i'll be spewing im not gonna be able to see would have to be crookers these guys are boarderline mainstream these days but never fail to deliever amazing tracks time and time again and turn something good into something epic aswell as this another reson im kicking myself for not grabbing a ticket, the bloody beetroots, no explaination needed for that one... alot of you may have these but for those who havent you should deffintely have a look some of my favourites atm of the newest tracks and will deffiently brighten your day or make it worse for you? if your not attending tomorow chinqoi.. (In this picture: Crookers)
yooo my names Aaron 20 year old from syd. my main aim is to post no bullshit posts, straight to the point, music you love and music i love. sooo considering im kinda new at this, for my first post i thought id introduce someone new to you all... his names wyatt peck, a friend of mine from the US and is djing under the name vakkuum.
How was parklife? I dont think i will ever know. The only thing i remember clearly of the day was Busy P announcing 'Brand new A-Track' and the crowd losing their shit to the amazing remix. According to my friends recollections i got back stage when Tiga played his set, dont ask me how or what happened but i think the photo above taken from my iphone speaks for itself. This is A-Tracks best work by far, I am beyond happiness that this DJ to producer thing is working out for people like Fake Blood, Boys Noize and A-Track as i believe there is nothing worse than a pre-planned Ableton set and the spontaneity of a true CDJ set is next to none.
After a long hiatus i am back to give you what you need, after a hectic few months of work, not internet acess and low money i finally have had some time to get together a list of tracks that have been destroying my mind as of late.

I just got informed that an exclusive side show has been announced for EROL ALKAN @ OXFORD ART FACTORY on the 4th of OCTOBER.
I basically died when i read the news!
The only reason I would have considered going to Parklife would have been to see this amazingly talented dj. I can now happily see him live with people who actually know the quality of music he produces and to enjoy his creativity behind the decks.
Here is two new tracks which in my humble opinion is just freaking awesome!
I'm getting into the mood for some phat bass lines tonight I want to feel the vibrations through my body now! I figured I should get my fellow party people into the mood aswell sippin on some vodka to these following tracks deff gets your 2 step vibing.

ENJOY A NEW TRACK FROM R!M!E! AND MY GOOD OLD TIME FAV'S BY FAKE FAKE FAKE BLOOD!
After recently watching the feature film of Notorious B.I.G's infamous life and triumphed music career I only figured it was right to turn back to my old school Hip-Hop/Rap roots, growing up being influenced by many talented performers and hip hop superstars Notorious soon became one one of those gangster rappers that surely leaft an impression towards my love for the rhyme. He contributed phenominally to my growing love for hip hop beats, the lyrically gifted B.I.G drops rhymes unlike no other each track having more meaning than the last.
As a treat and tribute to the late Christopher George Latore Wallace I thought I'll share these remixes
This 21 year old producer/dj from melbourne is making music with some crazy bass lines just the way I like it!

TURBO PHONIC TOURING 3DWORLD GENERIC COLLECTIVE
Last month Phonic packed out with lines going down the street, reminiscent of the old Kink days. This month is expected to be even bigger with support from 3DWorld and the side room being run by the Generic Collective, who recently ran a popular “save FBI Radio party” featuring some very talented young Dj sets to be the next big thing. Distrakt has returned from a successful European Tour with a new style set to bring down the roof for those who like it heavy.
Thirdly, the introduction of NT89 on his Australian tour and first Sydney performance. On top of performing with International heavy weight acts such as Tiga and Shinichi Osawa he has also assisted production with the Bloody Beetroots on the new “One Love” CD. All this on top of a stellar line up, Phonic is set to be the best night out of the month.
Here at Phonic we are about all things music. All Music is put up to support and promote artists that we love . We only post high quality tracks if we have permission or if they have been posted before. If you would like any songs taken down please email us: phonic.touring@gmail.com
